ABSTRACT
There are many radiation diagnostic centres running across Gujarat. Some of them do not concern about guidelines provided by AERB, which may lead to harm patient and staff. Our application will collect data about machines such as X-ray, Ct scan etc., staff, room layout will provide data to radiation safety department so that they can analyse and manage it efficiently. This project will help to those people who want to setup new diagnostic centre or to those who are already running diagnostic centres.

1. Introduction
Problem Summary
The mission of AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) is to ensure the use of ionizing radiation and nuclear energy in India does not cause undue risk to the health of people and the environment. Latest medical devices using ionizing radiation have led to improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of human disease. However, inappropriate use of such devices can lead to harm the patient and staff. But, there is no online mechanism to validate safety parameters like room layout where machine is installed, qualification of staff, machine details etc.
In Gujarat, we have radiation safety department under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat. The main goal of this department is to take necessary actions to improve patient and staff safety. For getting data about various radiation diagnostic centres running in Gujarat and to validate the layout of these centres we are developing this project.

This project will help to those who want to setup new diagnostic centre or to those who are already running diagnostic centres.

Aim and objectives
All ionizing radiation diagnostic centers must follow the norms provided by AERB. This system can be used to validate details about machines such as X-Ray, CT scan etc., staff, room layout, Q/A report and to generate deficiency report which will be available to radiation safety department so that they can analyse data and take policy decision based on the analysis.

Plan of work
We gathered requirement and analysed it. Then we selected the technologies. Then we created data dictionary. We will make web service. We will make application. We will make web portal.

We visited one diagnostic centre, we came to know that they were reconstructing room layout because they were not fulfilling the AERB guidelines. So, we were happy to see that they were concerned about radiation.

Scope of Future
