Mahatma Gandhi was an activist who inspired the world to a new way of making history. He was the visionary who wanted a world without racial or religionist discrimination. Gandhi is known as the father of the non-violence struggle, yet in 1948 at the age of 79 he died in the hands of an assassin. Gandhi lead a peaceful resistance movement to free India from the British ruling with a non-violence movement. Many people can remember Gandhi as a skinny and elderly looking individual who lead India civil disobedience and independence movement. He was able to speak in front on a large group of audience and inspire each individual in the crowd.
