Experience of the past government policies of segregation and separation, racism and socio-economic disadvantage are the factors that affect the trust in the government for Indigenous people. They were socially disadvantage minority group as compared to Non-Indigenous people in the context of education, housing, employment and health. Racial and biased clinical decision has also contributed their poor health and outcomes and motivates them to leave early without completing treatment. 69Discharge against medical advice is also the one of the problem in Indigenous people. Culturally safe nursing practice can discourage those kinds of discharges by building rapport and trust to make patient feel safe.
